Vision Airlines is suspending flights between Chattanooga and Destin/Fort Walton Beach, Fla., on Aug. 19, an official said today.

Bill Maloney, Vision's business development director, said the carrier is dropping flights from several cities during the fall and winter, which is the off season on the Florida Panhandle.

He said plans are to restart flights from Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport in the spring.

Vision had been flying from Chattanooga four times a week.
