Man stabbed on Greenview Drive in Chattanooga

A 46-year-old man is recovering from a punctured lung after another man stabbed him early Monday morning, Chattanooga police say.

Officers were dispatched to 490 Greenview Drive about 1:30 a.m. and found the man bleeding from a knife wound, according to police spokesman Nathan Hartwig.

The victim, who has not been identified, was taken to Erlanger hospital. Police then arrested Paul Vandiver, 60, and charged him with aggravated assault, Hartwig said.

The investigation is ongoing, he said.
