Reporter's notebook: Bill Bennett Appointed to State Board

come on back

The Chattanooga City Council had ended a discussion about selling city property for a potential private development to house college students Tuesday when Councilman Russell Gilbert buzzed in.

Council Chairwoman Pam Ladd was about to end the discussion when she noticed Gilbert's light and called on him to contribute to the housing conversation.

"I wanted to address another issue, " he said. "I want to go back."

"Okaaayyyy," Ladd responded. "I don't know if we want to go back with you, but OK."
