Georgia Bureau of Investigation agents have arrested a man accused of making threats against the sheriff of Dade County.
Hillard Stevens, 61, was chased down Wednesday evening by Dade County Sheriff Patrick Cannon, GBI officials said. Stevens wrecked his truck while being pursued.
Stevens, who has a criminal history, had allegedly made threats to kill the sheriff and several other public officials, according to the GBI.
