A 54-year-old mother has been charged for using a stun gun on her daughter during an argument, police said.
Princess Barnes was arrested on domestic assault charges after hitting her 16-year-old daughter in the lip and arm with the darts from a stun gun, a police report said.
The daughter was taken to the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Center on runaway charges, the report said.
Barnes said she used the stun gun in self-defense after her daughter attacked her.
The daughter told police she was home to pack her things and leave.

noted.. cop zapping a child = good parent zapping a child = bad
Children these days are so undisciplined that sometimes the parent truly needs to defend themselves. I've seen children be highly abusive to their parent but if they parent disciplines them it is child abuse. A hard spanking worked for me just fine. Spanking is not child abuse it is discipline. We do not know the situation. Don't blame the child or the parent until we know who is the real victim here.
