Four men and a teenager were arrested Monday in connection with the reported beating of a Collinsville High School teen who refused to be part of a gang.
The teenager reported that he was beaten at a Lookout Mountain residence near Collinsville, Ala., late last week, DeKalb County Sheriff Jimmy Harris said in a news release.
After investigating the reports, police arrested Manuel Tomas Pablo, 21, Raul Felix, 23, Moises Felix, 22, Juan Manuel Lopez Jr., 18, and a 16-year-old juvenile, Harris said.
All five were charged with assault 3rd degree and Pablo, Raul Felix and Lopez also were charged with probation violations, Harris said.
The adults were booked in the DeKalb County Jail, where three remain in custody. The juvenile was transferred to the juvenile correctional facility in Anniston.
Collinsville High School officials and the police department also investigated the case.

So, all of the adults were also arrested for probation violations. Are they still going to run around in their little gang? Will they get jail time? I have to ask myself; "What would Indian do with this bunch of gangbangers?"
How about congratulations to the teen who resisted the gang with courage and consequences?!
Also, congratulations and thanks to DeKalb County Sheriff, Jimmy Harris, and his deputies!
Congratulations and thanks, likewise, to the Collinsville High School's staff and executives!
Way to go team -- mark up some points for the good guys!!
