Crime Stoppers is looking for information about the location of a suspect in a Chattanooga child abuse incident, police said.
Police have obtained an arrest warrant for Kareem Alford on a charge of simple assault.
On Nov. 22, Chattanooga police were called to 5600 Brainerd Road, where they found a 5 year-old boy with marks on his arm, leg and back.
The boy was taken to the hospital and was placed in the care of child protective services, police said.
The investigation said Alford is suspected of whipping the boy with a belt.
Alford, 29, is 5 feet, 9 inches tall and 200 pounds. His last known address is 5407 Ansley Dr. in Chattanooga, police said.
