Gail Palmgren’s Jeep was recovered today from the side of Signal Mountain.Photo by Patrick Smith /Chattanooga Times Free Press.
The human remains found on the side of Signal Mountain have been positively identified as those of Gail Palmgrem with the identity having been verified through dental records.
A wrecker has also taken her Jeep — a 2010 Rubicon — from the side of the mountain where it had been found last week.
Wrecker crews were at the scene on Sunday to pull the vehicle out, but discovered they needed a heavy-duty cable. They had the appropriate cable as of today and accomplished the task.

It was down the hill; not up.

well another great job by YATES WRECKER SERVICE seems there always there when something happens
Yeah Yates is there, ripping someone off.
Justreading, Yates wouldn't be there if he hadn't been contacted. Likely by friends doing a friend a favor.
I would venture to say Yates was the most qualified for the type of recovery. This was just a tad bit more than shoe strings and a Ford truck.
He may or may not be the most qualified but I can assure there is no way he done this for free.
Would you have done it for free?
It was reported that another car was found nearby. Has any thing been saud about it?
Someone mentioned that the other car went down the bluff about thirty years ago and was left there because there was no point in trying to get it out.
scoop away... all this maybe true but shoe strings and ford truck was pulling them out long before you showed up lets not forget where we came from
