A suspect in a Brainerd robbery is the latest Crime Stoppers target.
On Thursday at 3:13 a.m., police responded to a robbery at the Kangaroo Express located at 4900 Brainerd Road in Chattanooga.
The clerk told officers that a suspect went into the store and demanded that he open the cash register. When the clerk refused, the suspect grabbed the cash register, ripped it off the counter and ran out with it, police said.
The suspect was a white male who was about 6 feet tall, of average build, and has light colored hair that was possibly gray. He was wearing a blue jacket and blue jeans and had pantyhose over his head during the incident, police said.
The suspect was seen leaving in an older model, faded-red pickup truck that had a drive-out tag in the window behind the driver's seat, police said.
