A Chattanooga lounge that was the site of a double stabbing last month will not be able to sell beer over New Year’s weekend.

The Chattanooga Beer and Wrecker Board unanimously voted to suspend T & B Lounge’s license for three days starting Dec. 30.

T & B Lounge, at 2407 Glass St., faced the Beer Board after being accused of operating a disorderly place.

On Nov. 29 at 11:20 p.m., police found one man in the lounge’s parking lot and one in the bar. Both had been stabbed in the abdomen and lower back. They were taken to Erlanger hospital for treatment, the incident report stated.

The victims were severely intoxicated and could not provide suspect information at the time, Chattanooga police officer Colton Krumrie said at the Beer Board meeting.

Two men have been arreated in connection with the incident, police spokeswoman Jerri Weary said in a news release.

If they shut this AND Fire And Ice down where will I go to hit bartenders over the head with barstools? Where will I go for a wild west shootout on the sidewalk out front? Where will I go to shoot up heroin in the alley and pee on condo owner's patios? Please reconsider. The violent dredges of society need a central meeting place to plan their lawless pursuits.
