Disabled adult taped, held in bathroom without food in East Tennessee

NEWPORT, Tenn. (AP) — Cocke County authorities have charged three people with holding a special-needs adult in a bathroom without food.

Sheriff's deputies discovered 23-year-old Aaron Crosswhite had been duct-taped and was locked in a bathroom at his family's home in Cosby.

WVLT-TV in Knoxville reported Crosswhite survived because someone sneaked him food.
