Chattanooga police are investigating an abuse case after a 4-year-old boy died and a 3-year-old boy was taken to the intensive care unit.
The two boys were brought to a local emergency room, where the 4-year-old was pronounced dead upon arrival, Chattanooga police spokeswoman Sgt. Jerri Weary said.
The 4-year-old’s cause of death is unknown, but preliminary findings revealed that the two boys had suffered abuse, Weary said.
Police are currently talking to the boys’ mother and her boyfriend, Weary said.

Another one?! Wow! Our children are suppose to be our most precious possessions! This is getting worse instead of better. Why make a little one suffer or hurt like this? No need for this! Senseless is what it really is! Another family hurt by stupidity! If things were that bad, they could have been placed for adoption! But for heavens sake, not hurt or killed! This is terrible!!! May this little inocent child rest in peace! My tears are running for this baby!!
