A Middle Valley woman has been charged with stabbing her husband during an argument overnight, authorities said.
Hamilton County deputies were called to 938 Wesley Drive shortly before 1 a.m. to find that Joseph Davies had been stabbed at least twice with a knife, sheriff's office spokeswoman Janice Atkinson said in a news release.
Davies told officers he had argued with his wife, Angela. She spilled a drink in the bed and he told her she couldn't have anything more to drink, then went down to the basement.
She followed him and stabbed him, according to the statement.
Davies went to a neighbor's home to call police and was taken to a local hospital. There was no immediate word on his condition this afternoon.
Angela Davies is in the Hamilton County Jail on a charge of attempted first-degree murder, Atkinson said.
