A police chase turned deadly after the suspect was shot while running from deputies in McMinn County.

A police chase turned deadly after the suspect was shot while running from deputies in McMinn County this morning.

Around 11:30 a.m., a deputy went to the house at 1551 County Road 250 to serve a warrant on Theft Over $60,000.

As the deputy approached the house, the suspect ran and the deputy followed.
