Twice yesterday stun gun-wielding men walked into businesses and came out with cash.
At Captain D’s, at 5001 Oakhill Road, two men walked in about 7:20 p.m. and told everyone to hit the floor, according to an email from Chattanooga Police spokeswoman Sgt. Jerri Weary. One of the employees refused, and he was shot with the stun gun. Witnesses said the two men then went through the cash registers and took money.
Then about 8 p.m., two men walked into the Popeye’s at 3352 Broad St. They jumped over the front counter and pointed a real gun and a stun gun at the employees while they stole from the cash register. Weary said one man gunman shoved two employees to the ground, and one employee bumped his head while the other cut his hand.
The employees were treated at the scene.
The suspects were described as black men, one with short hair and the other with dreads. They were both about 5-foot-9.
Weary asked that anyone with information about the suspects call Chattanooga Police at 423-698-2525.

Stun guns Huh? Probably compassionate conservatives.
Should be easy to find if they stay together, "both" about 5-foot-9.
They obviously like fried food.
Sooner or later they will pull that stun gun on an armed citizen. My "retirement" job is working the front desk at a hotel. Attempt to rob this location with a stun gun and find out if there is an afterlife.
Club Fathom sent the get a box of chicken for the Christmas party. It's all Tim Reid's fault. {sarcasm}
ThinBlue:
So I take it you own that hotel?
If not, why would you risk your safety to protect someone else's cash? In fact, if you do resist a robbery, your employer will probably fire you. Most places have a policy to simply give the robbers what they want. The hotel corporation doesn't want you risking being harmed, and losing a few hundred bucks is nothing to them.
Hey Paco, ThinBlue just wants to get some street justice and bust a cap in someone who is just askin for it. Get ya some, Thin Blue.
Hey Paco, Have you ever been robbed? Me either? I would say that it is very terrifying. I would also say that the thoughts that would run through your head would be please dont kill me not knowing if they intend to or not. So yes it may not be thin blues money but if he was in fear of dying then do what you feel justified in doing thin blue!
