The victims of Tuesday night’s fatal car accident, the first in Hamilton County this year, have been identified, according the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.
Joseph Ryan Jordan, 23, and Derrick Scott Dugger, 24, both of Dayton, Tenn., were killed after a truck crossed over the center line of Highway 60 and struck the 1996 Ford Mustang Jordan was driving.
The driver of the truck is a juvenile, and the name will not be released, said sheriff's spokeswoman Janice Atkinson.
Atkinson said the investigation is ongoing, and investigators are still trying to confirm the details of what led to crash.
The last fatal accident in the county occurred in October 2010, said Atkinson.
