The "Big Bids for JA Kids" auction party, benefiting Junior Achievement of Chattanooga, will begin at 7 p.m. Saturday at Bessie Smith Cultural Center, 200 M.L. King Blvd.
Guests will enjoy heavy hors d'oeuvres from On the List Catering. Beer and wine will be available.
Featured live and silent items include Florida beach vacations; two round-trip Continental Airline tickets to anywhere in the United States, Mexico or Canada; and two round-trip Allegiant Airline tickets to Orlando, Fla, with a Universal Studio package.
Also up for bids are a Sheraton Read House and Porter's Steakhouse package; Lenovo Thinkpad SL510 laptop; women's gold, sterling and diamond bracelet; oil paintings; massage packages; golfing; and Great Clips gift baskets.

All proceeds from this year's auction will benefit the agency's economic-education programs for students, which include saving, budgeting and planning for a career.
"The event raised more than $35,000 last year for our K-12 programs, which allowed more than 1,400 students to experience our program in their local classroom," said JA-Chattanooga president Brigette Thurman.
