RAINSVILLE, Ala. — Four people face drug charges after a bust Tuesday by the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office.
In a news release, Sheriff Jimmy Harris said the department had received numerous complaints about drug activity at the house on Chavies Road.
Deputies arrested Tammi Jo Mcannelly, 40, of Rainsville, on charges possessing a controlled substance, possessing marijuana and possessing drug paraphernalia.
Also Tuesday, deputies searched a home on College Road in Powell and seized methamphetamine, pills and drug paraphernalia.
Hoyt Alfred Evans Jr., 66, of Fyffe and Keith Burton Smith, 44, of Powell, were charged with possessing methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Melinda Kay Payne, 31, of Fort Payne, was charged with possessing paraphernalia.
