Chattanooga city attorney found against Templeton

Thursday, February 17, 2011

An investigation by the Chattanooga city attorney found that City Services Director Jimmy Templeton violated city code by not disclosing that some of his family members had jobs with a city contractor.

But City Attorney Mike McMahan wrote that the violations were not "egregious."

City Council Chairman Manny Rico said the council will discuss the report Tuesday but, based on the report, he doesn't think any serious harm occurred.
