A masked ball will be the theme of the 27th annual Arts Gala sponsored by the Athens Area Council for the Arts Auxiliary.
The fundraiser will be held Saturday, March 5, at The Arts Center in downtown Athens, Tenn., from 7 p.m. to midnight.
The party will include silent and live auctions, cocktail buffet, music by the McMinn County High School Jazz Band, and dancinig to The Beaters. Cast members from the community theater's recent production of "Annie" will perform.
Proceeds from the gala are earmarked to support school and community education in the arts.
Tickets are $75 per person and are available online at www.athensartscouncil.org, at The Arts Center, 320 North White St., or by phone at 423-745-8781.
