A snow leopard cub born at the Chattanooga Zoo turned six weeks old Monday and will be on exhibit Saturday.

The baby leopard weighs about 5 pounds and was born about a week before the death of the zoo's mascot, Hank the chimpanzee. Hank was found dead on Jan. 24.

Zoo officials call the cub a sign of hope for the Chattanooga community.
