A Hamilton County corrections officer has been charged with assaulting her husband, according to a release from the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators determined that Lori Pickett was the aggressor in the reported assault of her husband, James Pickett, who is a court officer, according to sheriff’s spokeswoman Janice Atkinson. The dispute broke out on Friday at 1600 E. Third St., Atkinson said.
Lori Pickett was charged with domestic assault, Atkinson said. She was booked in the Hamilton County Jail on Wednesday morning, and released on a $1,000 bond.

According to the Chattanoogan this Pickett guy probably got what he deserved. Earlier he had been transferred to juvenile court from another court because he had had sex with a female security guard while at work. That's it. Transfer him to juvenile court where the children are. Sure makes sense to me. NOT!!! Should give the wife a medal and fire the one who transferred the husband to juvenile.
I now the Wife was NOT a jailor, why no one corrected this statement, because the department thinks only of patrol and not the Jailors. Yes she was a Patrol Officer at the time.
