The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga softball team picked up where it left off last weekend.

The Lady Mocs hit three home runs on the way to a 13-4 rout of Toledo in five innings Friday afternoon, opening the Frost Classic at Warner Park.

In the second game of the day, UTC (9-3) used an eight-run first inning to spark an 11-1 rout of East Tennessee State in five innings.

Pitcher Michelle Fuzzard earned the win against Toledo, going three innings and allowing three runs. She also got the UTC offense started early in both games with three-run home runs in the first inning of both games.

UTC will resume play in the Frost Classic today at noon against Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis followed by a 2:30 game against Northern Iowa.
