Members of the Hamilton County Rescue Squad reported a fire at the Ace Hardware, 5906 Lee Highway, in time for firefighters to save the building, officials said.
The fire was reported about 9 p.m. tonight and seven Chattanooga Fire Department trucks responded, according to spokesman Bruce Garner.
The fire started around a paint mixing machine and was quickly extinguished, Garner said.
