A woman who fell from a bluff on South Pittsburg Mountain while hiking Saturday has been rescued and taken to a hospital, a Marion County dispatcher said just before 11 p.m. Saturday.
The woman's name and the circumstances of the fall weren't immediately available late Saturday. The Marion County Rescue Service was alerted through a 911 call, but officials are unsure weather the woman reported the emergency in herself or if she was with someone.
