Generals end Lookouts’ seven-game win streak

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson Generals won 7-4 to end the Chattanooga Lookouts’ seven-game winning streak in Southern League baseball Friday night.

Vincent Catricala’s three-run home run to left field off Will Savage in the fifth inning gave Jackson a 5-1 lead.

The Lookouts took a 1-0 lead when Alfredo Silverio opened the game with a double to left and Elian Herrera followed with an RBI single to left, but Jackson went ahead to stay later that inning on Johermyn Chavez’s two-run triple to left. After falling behind 5-1, the Lookouts (7-2) pulled within 5-3 on RBIs by Kyle Russell in the sixth inning and Hector Gimenez in the seventh.

Game five of the six-game series is tonight at 7:05 EDT. Michael Antonini (5-8, 4.30 ERA) is the scheduled starting pitcher for the Lookouts, with Erasmo Ramirez (6-4, 4.67) scheduled for the Generals.
