Stephen Muller joins New Beginnings

Stephen Muller, a licensed professional counselor, recently joined New Beginnings Counseling Center.

Muller is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and Auburn University. He has worked in a variety of settings and been a facilitator of support groups.

He also has been an academic adviser with the Quest degree program at Covenant College.

New Beginnings is at Northgate Park office complex.

Ross certified in chiropractic care

John Ross, director of the Ross Chiropractic Clinic, has received the designation of certified chiropractic wellness specialist by the National Institute of Health and the American Chiropractic Association.

The graduate level designation is conferred people who complete a 40-hour course focusing on worksite wellness.

Dr. Ross has been in practice for more than 35 years with emphasis on preventive care. He lives in Chattanooga with his wife, Mary.

Mealey promoted at East Tech Co.

Arthur Mealey was recently promoted to production manager for East Tech Co. in Chattanooga.

Mealey is responsible for scheduling, expediting rush orders, custom orders, training and continuous improvement.

Hamilton-Ryker hires Ezell for post

The Hamilton-Ryker Co. has hired Greg Ezell as business development manager to help with the company's continued expansion of information technology and other services.

Ezell has been in marketing, sales and public relations in the area for more than 20 years.

He comes to Hamilton-Ryker IT from the East Ridge revitalization program where he was the executive director.

Ezell is active in the East Ridge Kiwanis Club and a member of the Hamilton County Regional Health Council.

He will report to Jason Champion, regional sales director for both the Huntsville, Ala., and area markets.

Cephas to market ABG bikes in Korea

American Bicycle Group announced that Cephas Corp., has become its exclusive distributor of Litespeed and Quintan Roo products in Korea.

"Cephas' emphasis on technically driven sales with a focus on dealer and consumer education offers a great opportunity for Litespeed and Quintana Roo," ABG CEO Peter Hurley said. Cephas, headquartered in Gyeongg Do Korea, also represents other brands.

Chattanooga-based American Bicycle Group was founded in 2000 and is made up of Quintana Roo (founded in 1987) and Litespeed (founded in 1986).

Kassebaum named by cancer group

Patricia Kassebaum, the clinic director at local pediatric cancer care center Hatch's House of Hope, was recently appointed vice chairwoman of the executive committee of the Tennessee Cancer Coalition, or TC2.

Kassebaum will serve a two-year term with TC2, which began on July 1.

Bean joins staff at Lighting Gallery

Joyce Bean has joined the staff of Ferguson Bath, Kitchen and Lighting Gallery in Chattanooga.

Bean has more than 29 years of lighting experience.
