Where to see early-bird showings of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2

POTTER MANIA: “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2” opens nationwide Friday, and local theaters plan midnight screenings, including Rave’s East Ridge 18 and the Wilderness Outdoor Movie Theater in Trenton, Ga. (gates open at 10:30 p.m.). At 9 p.m. Thursday, area Carmike locations — Battlefield 10, Majestic 12, Northgate 14 and Wynnsong 10 — also will be showing the first installment of the final movie. Fans have been waiting since “Deathly Hallows, Part 1” debuted in November for the conclusion of the story.
