A man, wearing a surgical mask and brandishing a gun, entered Dupont Community Credit Union on Hixson Pike this morning and took what he could from teller drawers, officials said.
The man had tried to get a bank teller to open a vault.
Having finished, he forced the employees and customers into a back room while he left.
Chattanooga Police officers were unable to find the man, but a report said his description — 6 feet and two iinches tall and about 240 pounds —match the description given during the SunTrust and Regions Bank robberies in the past few months.
