Calhoun man arrested on child molestation charge

A Calhoun, Ga., man faces charges for allegedly attempting to have sex with a minor, the FBI reported.

Undercover FBI agents arrested Randy Greenway, 50, on Friday after he attempted to meet up with a minor for sex in Ringgold, Ga., according to a news release.

He was met instead by agents and officers with the FBI's Northwest Georgia Safe Child Task Force, who had been tracking Greenway's activities on the Internet.

Greenway faces charges of attempted aggravated child molestation. He was booked at the Catoosa County Jail and is out on on bond awaiting additional court proceedings, officials said.
