Investigators are trying to piece together the events leading up to the gunshots that wounded a Cleveland woman in her home Tuesday night.
Amanda Barnett, 25, was airlifted to Erlanger hospital after being shot in the chest and arm shortly before 6 p.m., according to police spokeswoman Officer Evie West.
West said Barnett and her husband, William Barnett II, were in a domestic argument before the shots were fired, but it’s not clear which one pulled the trigger.
“Detectives are hearing different stories from the two of them,” West said. Charges are pending.
Barnett is now in stable condition after a successful surgery, according to West.
