A woman has been arrested in North Charleston, S.C., in connection to a pharmacy robbery in the Chattanooga area.

Jacqueline Christine Kelly was arrested July 20 while attempting to rob a pharmacy in South Carolina, police said.

Kelly, Aaron D. Reynolds, 28, and Arnulfo R. Canales, 26, told authorities they robbed several pharmacies in Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina and Alabama.

The group members are suspects in the robbery of the CVS pharmacy at 8034 E. Brainerd Road on July 9, police said.

The FBI is now seeking federal charges against the group in more than 20 cases.

Reynolds and Canales were picked up in Crossville, Tenn., by authorities.

During the July 9 robbery, a man entered the pharmacy just after 5 p.m. and passed a note to a pharmacy tech, police said. The note told the tech he was armed and ordered her to give him oxycodone.

The man then brandished the gun, told the pharmacy tech she had 45 seconds to comply and began counting backward, police said.

He fled with a bag full of medication.
