COOKEVILLE, Tenn. — Police in Cookeville, Tenn., say they stopped a van that was traveling erratically and discovered a 10-year-old boy driving it.

According to the Cookeville Herald-Citizen, the vehicle stopped in the middle of an intersection Sunday and then stopped abruptly when police turned on their emergency lights.

About the same time, a woman who is the boy’s guardian called police to say her grandson had taken the vehicle. The boy was turned over to her and no charges were filed.
