5 at 10: Friday Mailbag

It's Friday, and that means mail bag.

But, since the 5@10 is on the down low in Montana (slacker), there's going to be a little twist today. The 5@10 is going to offer up the questions today, and it's up to some of our regulars to lead in the answers.

From the shoreline of God's Country, here we go...

To EC,

Who is the best MMAer of all time? And could he take Mr. Miyagi?

To Oso,

In order, name your favorite UGA player, your favorite UT player and your favorite Auburn player (football only please)?

To BIspy4?

How close is your boy Paul Johnson to throwing the NCAA a double-middle-finger salute and calling it a career?

To P-Davi,

Are you worried about the stories coming out about the T-Town Men's Store?

To C-Vol,

You asked us the following question...

"My question for you this week involves the upcoming debut of the University of Texas' Longhorn Network on ESPN. Several members of the remaining Big 12 are reportedly upset the network plans to air high school football games. This talk has fueled more speculation about conference realignment (a subject that could have its own patented 5in10 on the 5@10). The conference members are complaining that this gives Texas an unfair recruiting advantage. I completely understand this, I really do. But Mr. 5@10, doesn't Texas get whatever recruit they want anyways?"

As always that's a great question, and it's a topic that we will discuss at length next week. But let's spin your question forward... Sure. Texas gets the recruits it thinks it wants, but TV network or no, the Longhorns are still SEC light.

That said, how long until Texas is an independent like Notre Dame?

Thanks, and we'll hang up and listen (and everyone is welcome to answer at will).
