DUCKTOWN, POLK COUNTY (WRCB) - A late night ATV crash in Polk County has claimed the life of a teenager.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol says 13-year-old Derrick Brown died as a result of a crash on Mountain Drive around 11 p.m. Thursday.
The Trooper investigating the crash says Brown "failed to negotiate a curve at an excessive speed, [and] ran off the side of the south side of Mountain Drive".
