The Tennessee Valley Authority announced Wednesday it has extended a partnership with Chattanooga’s Orange Grove Center to shred documents for the utility.
Under the five-year contract, Orange Grove will transport materials from TVA facilities in secure bins to Orange Grove’s secure processing site, where the materials are shredded and baled before being recycled into new paper products. Bins will be placed at TVA sites in Chattanooga, Knoxville, Spring City, Tenn.; and Muscle Shoals, Ala.
Orange Grove is certified by the National Association for Information Destruction and the Secured Document Alliance. Its other clients include the U.S. Internal Revenue Service and the city of Chattanooga.
