Moving In

about Clay Bennett...

The son of a career army officer, Bennett led a nomadic life, attending ten different schools before graduating in 1980 from the University of North Alabama with degrees in Art and History. After brief stints as a staff artist at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and the Fayetteville (NC) Times, he went on to serve as the editorial cartoonist for the St. Petersburg Times (1981-1994) and The Christian Science Monitor (1997-2007), before joining the staff of the ...

I sincerely hope the one book she has packed is an American History Book. A fifth grade history book is about all she can handle. Print should be large and sentences short so she can understand what she is reading. She is the poster child for "Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader." Unfortunately, she is not.

and so the mysogyny goes on....and the character assasination...

you liberal men are conflicted, and wierd in your obssession with her...scared ****less of a strong woman who doesn't share your political philosophy.... carefully typing out your attacks on palin using only your left hand. torn, aren't you?

you liberal women are just catty and petty......mean and dripping with jealousy. convincing your- selves that your attacks on her have substance, but really at the core you're no better than a bunch of snotty, mean, petty little school girls threatened by a new girl in the class who isn't exactly like you.....

you're all a bunch of drones desperately trying to keep this stupid mantra going ...even though it's becoming more and more evident every day that we have a president who is quite possibly the dumbest and most clueless man to ever occupy the white house...and an obvious liar.

(even the washington post, a liberal rag, now believes he's a liar..check out glenn kesslers piece on obama's lies regarding the bailout of the auto industry)

this cartoon serves no purpose at all.......it simply exists because bennett broke out in a cold sweat yesterday after doing a cartoon actually criticizing a democrat..

he's a political hack..a bootlicker.....

we have a president who thinks the plural of the word feet is "feets", who thinks the word corpsman was corpse-man, who thinks "austrian" is a language...and of course, "i've been in 57 states-i've got one left to go"............and yet you continue to feel the need to put palin down.

The Salt Water Primate with hemorrhoids is all hot and bothered today, right out of the box.

He cannot write one word in defense of his female idol without making contrasts to his beholden lies about the President.

Monkey man, you prove the the President ever uttered the word "feets" in a sentence and I will mail you a check for $1000. Now put up or shut up. It never happened. As for his goof in the heat of the moment in uttering "57 states" was exactly that...a goof, and nothing more.

Notice that chuckled when the crowd did? Obama had a moment in which he could have searched his own short-term memory for the mistake he made. He could have turned to an aide and asked why everyone was laughing, corrected himself quickly, and moved on. But he didn't do it.

Now as for your idol who is relocating to Arizona at the moment as her plan to seek the GOP nomination, she has never recanted so much as one of her goofs. It's always been that she was set up by a member of the liberal media with "gotcha questions", never once admitting that anything is her fault or that her statements are due to a lack of knowledge. Fine. You can swallow that crap, but most of us know that she is as dumb as you have proven yourself to be as well.

Sarah Palin is all about power and money, and if it were remotely possible that she could obtain either or both by changing sides, she would do it in a heartbeat. She has no core values, because she has already demonstrated her total lack of honesty, her propensity to quit when the going gets tough, and that she will forever be a whore for any camera that happens to be turned on in her immediate vicinity.

She worships false Gods, mostly green in nature. You, yourself have posed a question about the President and I will repeat it about Palin. What churches does she attend or has she attended? Her so called, Christianity is a rouse.

When she gets finished milking Fox News out of as much money as she can get, she will announce her candidacy and we will then be treated to more than a year of her baseless attacks on the President. And when she has to face him on a stage, he will mop up the floor with her pretty little bun. There is no way that the screeching toad will be nominated to run, much less be elected President.

As for why this White man does not care for the woman named Sarah, is rather simple. The very thought that she and all the minions who would lick her feet if they were extended to them, believe that she is Presidential material, is totally amusing to even think about.

She is not a strong woman at all. She is a pathetic example of a woman who has quit every job she has had and has always been surrounded by conflict and scandal wherever she has landed for more than 30 minutes at a time.

And Monkey Man, trust me, I find nothing attractive at all about the woman, so both hands are on my keyboard as I type. Don't project your adopted habits on others.

Oh we read it alright. We just don't disregard and dishonor the writings contained in it like so many Conservatives do.

We try to follow all of the teachings contained within the Bible. What we don't do is quote the occasional Biblical passage and build a Conservative stance around it and proclaim to be doing God's work.

We liberals attempt at all times to associate with people from all walks of life. What we don't do is to attempt to judge others as if one is looking at the cover of a book, and we have empathy and sympathy for those in need, and we act on that which the Lord commands us to do, rather than to only seek methods self-preservation, abject greed, and to Hell with everyone else outside of their elite and diminutive circles of fellow hypocrites.

ELEPHANTS NEVER FORGET

Democrats salivate at the thought of Sarah 'Cut and Run' Palin running in 2012 but the GOP won't let it happen. Look back to the 2010 midterm elections to see the damage she caused Republican efforts to regain the White House. Palin's support for extreme Tea Bagger candidates enabled Democrats to barely hold control of the Senate.

And without her interference the entire 2012 election dynamic is altered. The House can pass all the kill bills it wants: Medicare, Social Security, Planned Parenthood, Public Broadcasting, cancer research, Pell Grants, etc., but it all that legislation dies in the Democratically controlled Senate.

If Republicans were in charge the Senate would be passing those bills onto the White House, where Obama would have to veto every one, and the 2012 campaign would have centered on a President 'drunk with power denying the will of the people.'

Republican leadership won't forget.

Palin is a hack. She's out for herself. She wants to be a power broker, a king maker if you will. She doesn't like Mitt Romney, so she torpedoed his announcement that he is officially running for President.

All you right wing knot heads, hear me now and believe me later. No liberal progressive is afraid of a Palin candidacy. Winners never quit and quitters never win, so bring her on. Democratic TV ads will run a continuous loop of Palin quotes, from Paul Revere riding through streets ringing bells warning the British to, oh heck, where to begin...

McCain threw a hail Mary pass and she caught it. She's a great television personality, but so was Howdy Doody. For those of you unfamiliar with the reference, one is a empty headed dummy.

The other was a puppet character in the early days of TV.

Palin is not presidential material but that doesn't mean any of the other announced candidates are either. The frightening thing is we have already proven in our last two choices for president that ability and credibility is not what gets someone elected.

Party loyalty and faith in fairy tales is amusing. If the liar is in the loyalist party it is called misspoke while if it is by a member of the other party it is a terrible and telling lie.

One party paints themselves as Robin Hood and the other the knight in shining armor. Both try to make their fairy tale most believable. Voters like lemmings follow the story they like most.

History shows every great dynasty back to the Roman empire following the same rise and fall scenario and each of them felt sure they were different than those before them. We are the greatest nation on earth, it can't happen to us. Trust the government to provide and guide we will survive the crisis. Sound familiar?

Is it possible for either party to offer an honest capable candidate that can select and get to serve an honest and capable cabinet? Is it possible to identify and replace those in congress that should be replaced with more competent people or at least have term limits so ignorance doesn't achieve power due to time?

Obama just promised Germany the U.S. would help support Greece and help them with their debt problems. How in the hell can one broke country approaching default and eventual demise help another broke country while promising to provide every U.S.citizen a comfortable living?

The other party keeps promising to save us by reducing spending and tax revenue and with some magic formula reduce the debt. They also promise to keep providing for every citizen that needs support by protecting entitlements.

Palin has already been deselected as a viable candidate by the media. Who actually selects which candidate will win? Letterman and Leno have about as much influence as anyone. Those they don't sway are captured by other viewing media and totally biased journalist. The Internet is becoming a major force also. The Internet is used for under the radar damaging falsehoods about candidates from anonymous sources. Thirty second ads like granny over the Cliff is just the beginning of the misleading innuendos to be seen in 2012 since neither party has a record to run on. It is like trying to decide whose deodorant failed worse.

Obama said some people cling to guns and religion but he failed to say some cling to a political party believing "the party" will provide for them for life.

Key members of congress are filthy rich. Those in the administration are even wealthier. Both parties hob nob and pal around with mega wealthy people. Why is it not surprising the party in power accommodates their wealthy friends and supporters. Both parties dole our just enough to those on the dole or those that feel secure to keep them "hooked". Politicians are like drug dealers. Get them hooked, feed their habit and keep taking most or everything they have until they are dead. Political life is hard. They have to keep being creative and learn to use smoke and mirrors to recruit and develop more users.

Palin is not smart enough or politically savvy enough to do more than she is now doing, which is not much. Her understanding of economics and the economy is comparable to Obama's, that is not a compliment.

SOME SAY, “liberals hitched your wagon to a fraud.” I’d say it’s more like liberals hitched their trailer to a slow moving Caddilac. The driver of which said he knew the way. About 1/2 mile into the trip he noticed a strange neighborhood. Hmm he thought – stopped at the quickie mart to get a slushie – asked which way was Washington. Two seedy characters, one looked like a Boehner (see mymy's 11:30 post) and the other looking like a turtlehead pointed the way. Lost of course – he somehow always comes back to the same quickie mart. The same two guys are always hanging around by the ice machine and he always follows their same directions. He has been driving liberals around in Alton Park ever since.

Conservetards on the other hand hitched their wagon to a dented and primer grey 63 Chevy pickup. The wagon is an old converted boat trailer with splintery plywood sides and rusty wheels. They are being towed at about 50 MPH down bumpy tight Appalachian roads by drunken rednecks – hootin, hoolerin - throwing beer cans and pork rind wrappers at them ignorant folk standing at the roads edge…staring in amazement. I heard them ask pretty young thing in an apron the other day, “HEY, You seen an uppity Kenyan in a fancy Caddy come through these parts?” she nodded and pointed.

It’s hard not to hear the loud clattering of rusty metal on metal and hootin in the distance. That gal pointed them down an old dirt road into one of the many hollers round these parts. Like ghosts in purgatory, they remain. Never able to move out of the holler of Reagans dream.

Why all the argument over a possible slip of the tongue, feet or feets? After all, W was the king of the verbal gaffe, so it seems like anyone who is a W supporter would avoid the subject altogether. And it's not like any of us is perfect, even using the written word in this forum.

alprova,

Other than that how do you feel about BRP? Apparently you are not in the liberal camp that embraces diversity and the freedom to say or do anything that doesn't harm another. It seems that most support social freedom but tight regulation and taxing of anyone with a profit motive. Do you not accept the philosophy of those that say all are equal and should all be equally compensated therefore equally wealthy or equally impoverished whichever is necessary to achieve equality. I wish more people would visit and post here not fewer and can't agree anyone following the rules should be banned. If everyone I disagreed with were banned I may be the only one here. Why is it not OK for BRP not to like Mr. Bennett's work and critique it the same as some like and applaud it?

It seems to me that we go around and around about which political party we blindly follow, when that is nothing more than a distraction. What we should really be outraged about, and what we should focus on, is the tremendous amount of money that goes into our politics.

We desparately need real campain finance reform, and real limits on gifts to elected officials. Without that, both parties are the servants of the moneyed interests, not the people, and not the nation. If it takes an amendment to the constitution so that the corrupted Roberts court doesn't overrule it, then that's what we need to do.

Sarah Palin is going to Arizona – in the summer. WTF? Coming from Alaska, she’s in for a shock. My brother lives in Phoenix. I thought I’d share some of his Arizona witticisms.

Sarah, it’s so hot in Arizona that…

hot water now comes out of both taps.

you don’t associate bridges (or rivers) with water.

farmers feed their chickens crushed ice to keep them from laying hard-boiled eggs.

you've experienced condensation on your butt from the hot water in the toilet bowl.

it's noon in June, and not one person is out on the streets.

anyone seen driving with their widows open automatically has the right of way.

And when I say to him that it’s not like Florida – it’s a ‘dry heat’. He just says, “Dry heat my ass, it effing hot!”

Good luck honey. Heat, coyotes, Mexicans everywhere, no ‘snow machines’, sand – lots of it and John McCain coming over for Sunday dinner.
It might be best just to stay in the AC and read your book.

Okay, so now we have something to work with. He said it. But he was not using the word as Monkey Man claims he was using it. It was not feet he was referring to, but rather in reference to more than one person with feet.

He was referring to multiple people, and pluralizing the word in reference to those many people. "I want you to hold me accountable. I want you to hold Washington accountable. I want you to hold all of our feets accountable and to the fire."

He transposed the plural of people and was referring to in the use of the word 'feets' as a reference strictly to multiple people with feet, not in reference to a person with more than one foot.

Okay, I certainly must back off the challenge that he never said the word, but in the context in which it was presented, it makes perfect sense why he used the word the way he did.

So I apologize and retract my challenge, but I do not owe any money to the Monkey Man, because his claim has always been that he used the word in reference to more than one foot and that is not the case in the context that he offered it.

But let's see who agrees with that and who doesn't.

So we ALL know about Sarah Palin, Esp. Clay and we ALL know that Al is scared of her among others on this site. Now using our common sense, no political agendas for either side. It is just common knowledge that citizens of a country and especially American citizens know their American History, know that Andrew Jackson's wife smoked a corn cob pipe, and was accused of adultery or that Lincoln never went to school, or Kennedy wore a back brace or Truman played the piano. We know about Clinton and his Arkansas Snapple on Monica’a dress. We know all about Rangel, Chaney, Biden, both Bushes, McCain, Frank, Ed (Hic) Kennedy, Edwards, Newt, and the Wiener, etc. and what they all did.

BUT who is our President? What do we know about him? None of us know one single humanizing fact about the history of Oblamea. No one ever showed up who dated him? The simple fact of his charisma that caused the women to be drawn to him so obviously during his campaign looks strange when some lady would not have missed the opportunity to say they knew him or dated him. No classmates at any school ever come forward to talk about him or show some photos? Is there footage or photos of any of his graduation ceremonies? Has anyone ever talked to any of his teachers or professors? Isn’t odd that no one is bragging that they knew him or taught him or lived with him. When did he meet Michele and how? Are there photos there? Every president gives to the public all their photos, etc. for their library, etc. What has he released? Who was the best man at his wedding? Who were his groomsmen? Does this make you wonder? Ever wonder why no one ever came forward from Obamea’s past saying they knew him, attended school with him, were his friend, etc.? Not one person has ever come forward from his past. VERY, VERY STRANGE. This should really be a cause for great concern. To those who voted for him, you may have elected an unqualified, inexperienced shadow man. Let's face it. As insignificant as we all are, someone whom we went to school with remembers our name or face ... someone remembers we were the clown or the dork or the brain or the quiet one or the bully or something about us. Some other interesting questions. Why was Obama's law license inactivated in 2002? Why was Michelle's law license inactivated by Court Order? It is circulating that according to the U.S. Census, there is only one Barack Obama but 27 Social Security numbers and over 80 aliases. The Social Security number he uses now originated in Connecticut where he is never reported to have lived. No wonder all his records are sealed!

Palin, Palin, Palin but Oblamea gets a pass. This post will drive Al nuts when he tries to figure out how to cherry pick this one instead of answering the questions to the above.

"No one ever showed up who dated him?"

I can't recall anyone who dated any other President who graced the White House. Can you?

I had no idea that this was important information desired by constituents.

"The simple fact of his charisma that caused the women to be drawn to him so obviously during his campaign looks strange when some lady would not have missed the opportunity to say they knew him or dated him."

Perhaps it is just a simple fact that while he was in school, he was focused on academics. It would certainly explain his grades and records of achievement.

"No classmates at any school ever come forward to talk about him or show some photos?"

Do you know what? I can't produce one schoolmate who would have photos of me, and I live within two miles of every school I attended from birth.

"Is there footage or photos of any of his graduation ceremonies?"

Google "Obama's graduation photos" and see them for yourself. I can't produce any footage of any videos either or photos of my grade school graduation ceremonies. Can you? Should he be bound to post all that stuff online to satisfy nosy people like yourself?

"What has he released?"

Nothing that is the public's business. He is not obligated to do so either.

"Who was the best man at his wedding?"

His half brother, Malik Obama, who lived at that time in Kenya. OOH no...more conspiracy. They were married by Reverend Jeremiah Wright too. Call the FBI.

http://www.celebritybrideguide.com/barack-obama-michelle-robinson-wedding/

"Who were his groomsmen? Does this make you wonder?"

Sorry. I can't find that information. It was probably members of the Black Panther Party. Who knows? Who cares?

"Ever wonder why no one ever came forward from Obamea’s past saying they knew him, attended school with him, were his friend, etc.? Not one person has ever come forward from his past. VERY, VERY STRANGE."

No it isn't. Most of your public people live private lives, and not everyone in this country is going to jump up and down, claiming to know someone famous or powerful. The only thing strange are people like you with an unnatural curiosity about things that are absolutely none of your frigging business.

"Why was Obama's law license inactivated in 2002? Why was Michelle's law license inactivated by Court Order?"

You're information is incorrect. Both Barack and Michelle voluntarily allowed their law licenses to lapse into inactive status. Michelle's became inactive in 1994, and Barack Obama 'voluntarily retired' and also became in active in 2002. There is no mystery whatsoever as to why both allowed their licenses to lapse. They no longer desired to practice law. Both have stellar records while they practiced as well. No complaints. Nothing.

"It is circulating that according to the U.S. Census, there is only one Barack Obama but 27 Social Security numbers and over 80 aliases. The Social Security number he uses now originated in Connecticut where he is never reported to have lived. No wonder all his records are sealed!"

You can thank Orly Taitz and World Net Daily for starting and spreading variations and quantity of these false and unfounded allegations. Is it possible that there are people with close resembling names, similar to the President? Of course. Does the President have more than one SSN? No, at least without a legitimate reason that may involve legitimate security concerns that may be afforded any and all other Presidents who have graced the White House and that the public is not made aware of.

Monkey Man repeatedly accused the president of using that word in regard to the pluralization of more than one foot. That was not the case and the context in which he presented it proves it. He was referring to multiple people's feet, and accidentally extended that thought in reference to "holding all of our feet's to the fire." Yeah, it's a stretch, but I'm going to stick by it, because there is no way under heaven that Barack Obama is not fully aware that the plural of foot is feet. The man has a Harvard education.

Sue me. And if we really want to get technical, he was not one of the people who presented the evidence to the contrary anyway. The challenge was only extended to Monkey Man and no one else. I honestly expected someone to cough up the proof at some point if he was indeed telling the truth. Goodness knows that he can never back up his own crap with proof.

You presented something that was not part of the issue to begin with. I did find it interesting nonetheless, as lacking as it was in terms of what Monkey Man was talking about.

alprova,

Your challenge to sea monkey said the man never used the word feets in any speech or in any way. Now you maintain it was appropriate in the context it was used. The word "feets" is never appropriate. It is commonly used by some minorities as is mens. Use or misuse of grammar is the least of our worries about Obama. His apparent weakness in grasping economic reality, his cabinet and some advisers, such as Charlie Wrangle, who apparently has open access to the president may be worth having some anxiety over.

Hang in there, don't pay. I am betting you are better at the ropey dope, wiggle and diversion tactics than Wiener. Keep it up until the issue dies a natural death. Call a press conference and tell everyone someone hacked your account, you didn't issue the challenge. Remember nothing is at stake other than your credibility.

I can't identify any potential replacements that would improve the situation a lot. My choice between Obama and Palin or any of the current candidates would probably be not bothering to vote and try to figure out how to protect what little I have. I am not inclined to jump on the "shared sacrifice" bandwagon and become dependent on an unreliable bankrupt government in the future. Both parties remind me of those TV preachers encouraging people to send them their last dime and promising them the lord will provide. I have an equal amount of trust in our politicians and the TV preachers. I would prefer an honest dumb ass in office over a lying genius.

Yes, I agree, Leaf. Hardly a day passes without some politician doing something outrageous and it usually can be traced to money. Earlier today I read that Palin’s alleged “family vacation with the kids” is being paid for by her political action committee. Indeed, if Palin's trip is truly just a family vacation as she claims, why is SarahPAC paying for it?

“Palin billed her “One Nation” trip — on a bus festooned with images such as the Liberty Bell and the Constitution — as nothing more than a family vacation complete with kids, grandparents and many hours on Interstate 95. . .

. . . The trip, which is expected to resume later this month in the Midwest, is being paid for by the former vice presidential nominee’s political action committee, SarahPAC. . . .

. . . The bus tour has required a good deal of planning and preparation by the historic sites that received her. Although they haven’t asked for it, Palin and her family have received VIP treatment just about everywhere they went: a private guided tour of Mount Vernon, early admission into the National Archives, and private tours at all the federally managed National Park Service properties they visited, including a 10-person escort of national parks employees and New York City police officers at the Statue of Liberty. . .

. . . The Palins also bypassed long lines and avoided crowded exhibit rooms — and hitched a ride to the Statue of Liberty on a National Park Service boat from New Jersey, avoiding the often hours-long wait for the public boat from lower Manhattan. . . “

For all Sarah Palin followers she's never going to get the Repub Nomination for President. Karl Rove, Charles Krauthammer, George Will, The Bushes, and other so called elite of the Republican Party will make sure she doesn't get any further than a bus tour. They will sabotage her campaign by any means necessary. They will take out the old Lee Atwater playbook and she'll be toast. Palin was ok as McCain's running mate before she opened her mouth to reveal there was nothing between her ears except hair and air. I always thought Dan Quayle was stupid and ignorant but Sarah Palin takes it to a whole new level. As for her husband's aspirations to be the "First Dude", he's got to explain his ACTUAL membership(for a number of years) in the Alaskan Independence Party, the party that advocates having Alaska declared a foreign country. I look forward to Sarah Palin's definition of secession.

I rarely watch local news and when I watch national news I watch Fox,CNN,ABC,CBS all so I can, hopefully, get at the real truth.I do not listen to Limbaugh and unlike you(apparently) I do not listen(?) to hate links.I am willing to hear other points of view, otherwise I wouldn't come here.Do you ever go to conservative websites and actually try to understand their points of view?I really doubt it.I can certainly understand why some people believe the way they do.I may not agree with them but can see where they come from.I think that liberals are good people just naive when it comes right down to the way the world really is.Unfortunately, unless or until,Christ returns the world will always be a hard and dangerous place and looking at it through rose colored glasses won't change it.People have always been good and evil, charitable and selfish, givers and takers. It does not help to teach people otherwise.

Let's use it as if Obama orated it. I hope you hold all our mens feets to the fire.

I hope you hold all our mens feet to the fire.

See? It can most certainly be used that way.

I do agree that it makes more sense to simply used feet, but he was not thinking multiple feet when he used the word. He was thinking multiple people, or someone wrote it on that paper he was reading from.

It's ludicrous for anyone to even suspect that the man does not know the proper pluralization of the word "foot. The man is highly educated. A goof if a goof, and nothing more.

How do we know he is highly educated? He has never released his college transcripts, which I know you will say he doesn't have to. Maybe he will not release them because he is not as highly educated as people like you think he is.

chet123...do you expect corporations not to try to make money? That is where jobs come from.No profit no investors,no jobs. Why do you think there is such job losses right now?Its because investors(rich people) don't know how much their taxes are gonna go up,personally or the corporation they may be thinking of investing in.Who wants to invest in a corporation if they are gonna be taxed into bankruptcy?Small businesses can't hire if taxes go up and are waiting to see whats gonna happen.Someone who makes a $250,000 business profit isn't rich, but will see their taxes rise if Obama has his way.Investors won't invest in small businesses until there is more stability.People who may have a good business idea can't get anyone to help them start up.

As far as unions go,I have no problem with unions in the private sector but I do have a problem with unions in the public sector.Private sector unions can negotiate with their employers and if the employer can't handle the demands of the union they close up shop.Public sector employers however don't have that luxury, the unions have a friend on both sides of the negotiating table(provided their campaign contribution helped their candidate win)and know that no matter their demands their employer won't shut down.Unions absolutely had a great deal with the working condition improvements in this country. They have however become so demanding that many companies can't afford to operate in states that don't have a right to work law.Large salaries, great benefits, and wonderful retirement packages can run a company out of business.

Well, before you criticize him, why don't you step onstage and address a crowd of thousands, to see how many goofs you would make. When you consider his background, he's only been speaking to the public for less than a decade.

"How do we know he is highly educated? He has never released his college transcripts, which I know you will say he doesn't have to. Maybe he will not release them because he is not as highly educated as people like you think he is."

I'll tell you what. When Barack Obama applies for a job, desiring to work for you, requiring him to submit proof of his education, then ask for such proof. Until then, nothing you desire to know is any of your business.

Did GWB or any other President submit publicly to such crap? I don't think so. You conspiracy nuts are getting nuttier by the moment.

I'll bet a thousand bucks that conservatives would man up and give him some respect if he could only prove to them that he loves our country and will fight to defend it.

Well, I hate to put like this, but you're not in upper management, where you get to do the interviewing of the job applicants.

Plese, for the love of God, name any other President that has been in office, who "released" for public viewing, their educational credentials, be it elementary school or college transcripts. GWB's were leaked to the press in 1999. How much crap was made over his secretive military records, which are still private as of today.

Where does anyone get the idea that any of this is public information?

It's not and it never will be.

It was a bold stance to say there is no way the man ever uttered the word feets and challenged seamonkey to prove it and receive $1,000 dollars. We have all at some point allowed our chickadee ass to over load our alligator mouth which may or may not have been costly to us. Age and citizenship are the qualifications to run for and be elected to a federal office. This may be a flaw where the founders assumed voters would be sure they knew and assured a candidate was to their satisfaction qualified. There is an oath of office to uphold the constitution which seems to be ignored or conveniently interpreted by those elected. There are no other conditions to be met which we have proven by those we elect. Some would probably test as dysfunctional idiots if IQ test and other personality profiles were required. A lie detector test would jeopardize so many we may be hard pressed to find qualified candidates.

How predictable and unimaginative of you. A Palin run is your ONLY hope for keeping your messiah in office. It isn't currently a requirement but the question is should it be? You said it never will be which is probably right. However, If someone seeks such a high office should their qualifications not be beyond reproach? Is it asking too much to ask that individual to be a totally open book. After all the United States is a large corporation to be running. There are a lot of perks but it should probably pay more and congress pay lessthan currently paid but have similar requirements of openness to seek the office.

Did you share this same sentiment concerning George W. Bush's service record or his test scores that got him pushed ahead of so many in the Air National Guard? Or what about his DUI record? You hypocrites are laughable. You wanted Obama's "LONG FORM" BIRTH CERTIFICATE and then much to my despair he gave it you. It was unthinkable in my opinion for him to even dignify that smut birthers were spreading yet he finally relented but of course for your kind and others it was still not enough. Now you want to see his grades, for what purpose? First you try to make him out to be this alien from a foreign land, now you want others to believe he lacks the intelligence to lead this country. Clearly something G.W. Bush lacked from day one, yet we endured his oratorical gaffes, his cowboy attitude towards the rest of the world and of course last but not least his shameless squandering of the surplus he was handed when he took office. G.W. Bush was a C student at best and no one ever really had to produce his transcripts as evidence. It was obvious from the start. G.W. Bush couldn't get into law school at Harvard because of his grades, Barack Obama got into Harvard as a result of his grades. Not only did he get into Harvard Law but he was the Editor of the Harvard Law Review. Do you really expect anyone to believe this was because he was just an average student? Here's the bottom line: Barack Obama is an AMERICAN CITIZEN, HE ATTENDED HARVARD LAW SCHOOL, BECAME THE EDITOR OF THE LAW REVIEW, WAS A LAW SCHOOL PROFESSOR, WORKED FOR A VERY LUCRATIVE LAW FIRM BEFORE HE BECAME A COMMUNITY ORGANIZER, THEN RAN FOR & WON STATE OFFICE AS A STATE SENATOR. LATER HE RAN FOR THE U.S. SENATE AND WON. LESS THAN FOUR YEARS LATER HE RAN AND WON BY A HUGE MAJORITY THE OFFICE OF PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. IN 2012 HE WILL BE ELECTED TO A SECOND TERM AS PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES BECAUSE REPUBLICANS HAVE NO ONE BETTER THAN OR AS GOOD AS BARACK OBAMA TO BE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES.
