East Ridge police are asking for the public’s help in locating a man who has used the credit cards of a 70-year-old woman found slain in her home.
Police today identified the woman as Jane Stokes. She was found by a neighbor with plastic covering her face and her hands bound on June 15, according to a statement from the East Ridge Police Department.
Police said they believe she was the victim of a robbery.
Stokes’ credit cards were used throughout the Chattanooga area, and police are asking for the public’s help to identify the man whose picture was taken at an ATM using one of the cards.
East Ridge police can be reached at 622-1725. A tip line is available at 867-0016.
