Tabitha Gilley of Chattanooga will compete for the title of Miss Hooters International at the 15th annual Hooters International Swimsuit Pageant on June 25 in Miami, according to a company news release.

An employee of Hooters on Brainerd Road, Gilley will compete with 99 Hooter Girls from around the world for the Miss Hooters International title at the Jackie Gleason Theater in Miami. She will vie for $150,000 in cash and prizes as well as the title of Miss Hooters International 2011.

Gilley, a 2005 graduate of North Jackson High School in Bridgeport, Ala., and a 2009 graduate of Chattanooga State., holds an associate's degree in applied sciences. In addition to working at Hooter's in Brainerd, she also models for other companies.

"I have an agent in Nashville and model at a lot of promotional events," she said. Additionally, she represents Hooters at events including openings in other countries.

"When I'm not traveling, I'm working at Hooters, at least two days a week," she said.

Gilley, 24, leaves tomorrow for Miami where she will spend the week in rehearsals and going to parties.

"It's a long week," she said. "We have rehearsals, photo shoots, and cocktail parties every day. It's a lot of work but it's also fun."

Gilley said this will be the fourth time she has competed in this pageant.

Miss Hooters International will participate in charity events as well as photo shoots from Hooters Magazine and the Hooters calendar.

The competition will air on June 25 at 9 p.m. on Fuel TV.
