A 26-year-old man showed up at Erlanger hospital Monday night with gunshot wounds to his shoulder, according to Chattanooga police.
Initial reports stated the man had been shot around the 1200 block of Cypress Street Court in the College Hill Courts housing development.
No additional information was immediately available Monday night.
The shooting was the second in two days in the development. Cecil Timmons, 20, was killed after police say he was shot in the chest early Sunday morning.
Witnesses told police that a white four-door vehicle had circled the block around Maple Street Courts and returned shortly after with its lights turned off. Several black males emerged from the car and at least one of them shot into the crowd where Timmons was standing.
No motives or suspects have been released in that case.
