Which states had the most construction job growth in the past 12 months?

Tennessee ranked among the leading states in construction job growth in the past 12 months. Georgia was the third-worst state, losing 12,700 construction jobs in the past year.

1 Michigan added 6,300 construction jobs, 5.2 percent growth rate

2 Hawaii added 1,200 construction jobs, 4.2 percent growth rate

3 Texas added 23,200 construction jobs, 4.1 percent growth rate

4 Tennessee added 4,200 construction jobs, 4 percent growth rate

5 Oklahoma added 2,500 construction jobs, 3.7 percent growth rate
