Man gets 12 years in meth case

U.S. District Judge Harry "Sandy" Mattice sentenced Johnny Ray Moore to 12 years in federal prison on a charge of possessing equipment to manufacture methamphetamine.

On Monday, Mattice dismissed three other charges on the four-count indictment at the request of federal prosecutors in exchange for Moore's guilty plea in the case.

According to the indictment, on at least two occasions in November 2009 Moore possessed chemicals and equipment to make meth and made meth.
