Suspect in robbery sought

One of a trio of suspects in a June 14 armed robbery is this week’s Crime Stoppers target.

According to Chattanooga police, three men went into 1211 Flynn St. and robbed the resident at gunpoint. They demanded money and drugs, ransacked the home and took numerous electronic items before leaving.

Police found them in Wheeler Homes. All three ran, but one was caught.

Now police are looking for Anthony G. Amey on charges of aggravated robbery and aggravated assault.

Amey, 20, is 5 feet, 9 inches tall and 194 pounds. His last known address is 2905 15th Ave. in Chattanooga.

Anyone with information on Amey’s location could be eligible for a confidential cash reward up to $1,000. Call 423-698-3333.
