A story on Monday’s Metro page should have said a female muntjac at the Chattanooga Zoo died Jan. 8 of a twisted colon, 29 days after a male muntjac drowned in a pond at the zoo on Dec. 10. Friends of the Zoo board member and veterinarian Mickey Myers has said the second deer’s death was not connected to the dog-barking incident.
