Local mom jailed after fighting alleged teen bully

The mom of a Howard High School student will spend 90-days in jail.

Amy Smartt assaulted a female student she said was harassing her daughter.

Judge Bob Moon said he gave her jail time because she had a criminal record.

When the school system won't protect the children the parent should. This woman was protecting her child from a school bully. She should be praised not punished. I say get you a lawyer girl and sue all of them.
