Woman charged with stabbing man

A woman was charged with aggravated assault after a man was hit in the head with a scissor jack then stabbed in the abdomen with an 8-inch butcher knife Friday, according to a Chattanooga police release.

Ana Dave, 28, was taken into custody after the 6:40 p.m. incident in the 900 block of Elinor Street.

The victim, Frederick Flick, 58, was transported to Erlanger hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries, police said.

This incident stems from a Feb. 26 assault in which Gary Dave allegedly shot into Flick’s home and Flick assaulted him, according to police.
