Kayla Christopher scored 17 points Saturday to lead the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga into the semifinals of the Southern Conference women's basketball tournament.
The third-seeded Lady Mocs missed their first nine shots before building a 21-point lead, but they had to hold off No. 11 Wofford in the closing minutes of their 68-58 win at McKenzie Arena.
Whitney Hood and Tenisha Townsend had 11 points each for UTC, which will face No. 2 seed Samford in the semis Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
