Two injured in shooting on Wilson

Two Chattanooga residents, one a 3-year-old-child, were shot at the 2300 block of Wilson Street on Friday about 9:45 p.m.

Police ,who were on the scene collecting bullet casings, said the injuries didn’t appear to be life-threatening.

Officers said five shots were fired through the residence’s window, and neighbors said the 3-year-old was struck in the leg.

Police had no suspects Friday night and weren’t yet able to determine whether this shooting was linkeded to a gang-related shooting earlier in the day.
