Hamilton County Conversations continue tonight

by Dan Whisenhunt

Hamilton County Mayor Jim Coppinger will host another County Conversations meeting tonight at Hixson Middle School at 6 p.m.

Commissioner Mitch McClure and School Board Chairman Everett Fairchild will attend. In addition, Coppinger has scheduled a second District 6 conversation at the request of Commissioner Joe Graham.

That event will be held March 28 at East Lake Academy at 6 p.m.

Graham said he wanted to reach more people who lived in the inner-city parts of his district. His first meeting with Coppinger, held Feb. 22 at Lookout Valley Middle High School, produced a good turnout he said.
