$1 million ticket sold in South Pittsburg

Someone who bought a lottery ticket in Marion County is $1 million richer this morning.

Lottery officials say a Powerball Power Play ticket sold in South Pittsburg matched all five white balls drawn in Wednesday night’s drawing, making it worth $1 million.

The winning numbers were 12-20-28-40-48 08 and the Power Play was 2.

While I'll grant you I have been out of school for nearly five decades, I believe I can still do simple mathematics. Unless Ms Rebecca has changed things and I haven't heard about those changes, I was under the impression "five white balls" were worth $200,000. Multiply that by 2 and you have $400.000. How did the total make it to One Million?? I'd really like to know..Woody
